Descriptions of what each timecard status means

There are various timecard statuses that you will see when using the Works application. Here are some definitions for each of them:

Not Submitted:

This is the first step of a worker's timecard. It means the timecard still needs to be submitted, but the worker is within the deadline. Worker timecard in this state are hidden from Manager approval until it's Submitted or becomes Overdue

Submitted:

A worker has submitted the timecard in the mobile app to be approved by a manager. This timecard submission may be retracted by a worker to make edits to up until the timecard submission deadline.

Overdue:

The timecard has not been submitted by the worker and it is past the submission deadline for the respective timecard period. Overdue timecards can still be submitted if not expired, but the approval period will be moved to the next nearest approval period.

Expired:

This status is applied if a worker has not submitted their timecard for an extended period that is set by the facility. This allows suppliers to dispute the time the worker should have logged on the timecard for approval by the facility.

Approved:

The timecard has been reviewed by a manager and approved for accuracy, is before the approval deadline, and is not yet invoiced for. Timecards in this status can be 'Unapproved' by a manager to have edits made before the approval deadline.

Rejected:

The timecard has been rejected by a manager and will not be invoiced for. It is not possible to make edits to a timecard in this state.

Processing:

The timecard has been approved by a manager and is being processed by the Works team for invoicing. It is not possible to make edits to a timecard in this state.

Invoiced:

The timecard has been approved and present in an active invoice on the Works platform. It is not possible to make edits to a timecard in this state.
