What is editable onboarding/compliance?

Previously, once an offer had been accepted, the Compliance template tied to the candidate's onboarding was frozen and could not be modified. Now, certain users can make changes to active candidate onboarding requirements or working nurse's assignments in one of two ways — either by modifying the template and applying those changes to all candidates onboarding or working under the same compliance template (Option 1), OR by editing the compliance list on the individual candidate level (Option 2).

Who can make these revisions?

Compliance Managers and Program Managers can now modify Compliance Lists after an offer has been accepted.

Option 1: Bulk Editing — Modify on the Compliance Template level, and apply the changes to all onboardings using this template (RECOMMENDED)

In most cases, Compliance Managers will want changes to a unit's compliance requirements to apply to ALL workers on that unit. By editing the compliance requirements on the Compliance Template level, this keeps all the linked assignments (all assignments or onboardings using that Compliance Template) in sync and conforming to the Template. This way, Compliance Managers don't need to worry about editing or keeping track of one compliance list at a time.

Step-by-step:

  1. Make changes to a Compliance Template as needed

    1. To add an item, click "Add Compliance Item"

    2. To remove an item, click the Pencil icon to the right of the item, and then move "Active" to off

  2. After making changes to a Compliance Template, click "Update now" or "Update Assignments" (they are the same)

  3. Review the Confirm Updates screen and click "Update Assignments", then click "Continue". The system will take you back to the Template screen, and the linked assignments' compliance lists have been synced.

Option 2: Edit Single Compliance Lists (NOT RECOMMENDED)

Used in the instance you need to edit a single candidate's compliance list only.

Step-by-step:

  1. Go to the Assignment's Compliance tab and scroll to the bottom, click "Edit List".

  2. You will see this pop-up. (As described earlier, once you make edits to a single Compliance List, you unlink it from its original Compliance Template. As a result, the Compliance List won't get any updates if that Template is changed in the future.)

  3. To edit the Compliance List only, choose "Edit this List".

  4. Make changes to the Compliance List as needed:

    1. To add an item, click "Add Compliance Item".

    2. To remove an item, click the Pencil icon to the right of the item, and then move "Active" to off.

  5. Click Save Changes, then click "Save". Your edits will be saved and this Compliance List has been unlinked from its original Template.
