To approve a Staffing Request or Extension Offer you must be logged in to the Works platform. You can get to Works by following the link from the Approval notification, email or by going directly to the platform at app.workshealth.com.
Once you have logged into Works you will be brought to the Staffing tab. If there are pending items for you to approve you will see a light-yellow notification banner(s).
In this image you will notice you have 1 Staffing Request and 1 Extension Offer to approve.
To approve the Staffing Request select the blue text under the Staffing Request "name" column. You will then see the view in the image below, where you can review the details as shown in the light blue header, or to see more specific details you can click into Staffing Request ID (PT00071) of the job. You can then 'approve' or 'reject' by simply clicking the corresponding button.

If approved, the Suppliers will receive a notification indicating a Staffing Request has been opened and is accepting applicants. If rejected, the Hiring Leader will receive a notification which should prompt them to fix an element of their request.
To approve an Extension Offer, click on the blue "1 Extension Offer" text. You will then be brought to the "Team" tab where you will see the resource whose Extension Offer is pending your approval.
Click their name and you will be brought to the Candidate Assignment view. From this page, select "View Extension Offer."
Here you can view all Extension Offer details by scrolling through the pop-out drawer. Once you have reviewed all details, you can proceed to make a selection (Retract 'Extension Offer', 'Reject', or 'Approve, Send to the Next Approver'). A notification will be sent to the relevant parties based on which selection you make.
